Playing Your Music Together® Songs at Home

Each term, your family will receive a new collection of songs to sing, dance and jam along to. You can access the digital version of your songs in two ways, using the Family Access Code on the inside cover of your songbook.

Music Together families, log in to the app (or create an account) to start listening! To access the current collection of music, insert the code from your inner songbook cover, which you receive on the first day of class. NOTE: Your account in the App is NOT tied to your account on our website, pitterpattermusictogether.com.au. The two are separate.

If you're not enrolled in class yet, the app comes preloaded with the Welcome Collection, a set of 12 of our most popular songs. Enjoy this taste of Music Together! And when you're ready, find a class near you and join us for some musical fun!


App Features

Make any time music time. Start with 12 free songs - then every term you enroll in a Music Together class, unlock the music using the code in your songbook. One account, many musical memories! You can log in to the app and listen to your unlocked music from multiple devices. So share your username and password with your child's other caregivers.

Create a MusicTogether.com Account

First, you'll create a Music Together account either through the Music Together app of by clicking Create Your Account button below. The process is the same: you'll enter the code that's printed on the inside cover of your songbook along with your email address and a password of your choice.

Note: This account is separate from your pitterpattermusictogether.com.au account on our website. There is no financial or personal information stored in your MusicTogether.com account.

 

 

Share the Music with All Your Child's Caregivers

The same account credentials will get you logged in to both the Family Music Zone® and the Music Together app, with no limit on the number of devices. So, feel free to share your account login with extended family and/or caregivers, so everyone can share in the musical fun!

 

Unlocking New Song Collections

In future terms, you'll add your new music simply by logging in to either the Family Music Zone® or the Music Together app and entering you new Family Access Code. After the code is entered, your new song collection will be added and available from any device where you're logged in.

 

Playing Music on iTunes/Apple Devices

To play your Music Together songs through iTunes and add them to your own playlists, etc., you will need to download the mp3s to your computer from the Family Music Zone®, and import them to iTunes. They'll then be added to your music Library on your Apple devices. Go to Apple Support for step-by-step instructions:

 

Playing Music on a Smart Speaker

To play your Music Together songs from a smart speaker (e.g., Amazon Echo or Alexa, Google Nest speakers, etc.), download the mp3s from the Family Music Zone® and add them to your preferred music player (e.g. Amazon Music, iTunes, etc.) that's paired with your smart speaker.

Playing Your Own Music on Spotify

There are three Music Together compilation albums available on Spotify (Family Favourites 1, 2 & Lullabies). To listen to the current collection music through spotify, you will need to follow these steps. First, you will need a Premium account with Spotify. Download the mp3's and save them on your computer/add to iTunes, then on a desktop version of Spotify (you can listen on a mobile, but these steps needs to be done on a computer first):

  1. Open the Spotify desktop app
  2. Click your profile name/photo
  3. Select Settings
  4. Enable Show Local Files
  5. Click Add a Source
  6. Select the folder on your computer where the music is stored
  7. Add the songs to a playlist if you want them to be available on mobile
  8. Download the playlist on your phone so they will be available on the go
